The Doctrine and Covenants
And to confirm those who are baptized into the church, by the laying on of hands for the baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost, according to the scriptures;
The Holy Ghost is a sanctifier unto the righteous that affirms (let’s them know) heart to heart that they are accepted before God; anyone that can feel the affirmation of the Holy Ghost can be assured they have been forgiven of all their sins.
