Yea, thus prophesied Joseph: I am sure of this thing, even as I am sure of the promise of Moses; for the Lord hath said unto me, I will preserve thy seed forever.

As a footnote to this scripture: There is yet another seer in the lineage of Joseph that had even Joseph Smith quaking in his boots… The Doctrine and Covenants -Doctrine and Covenants – Chapter 85 | Verse 7
The Doctrine and Covenants
And it shall come to pass that I, the Lord God, will send one mighty and strong, holding the scepter of power in his hand, clothed with light for a covering, whose mouth shall utter words, eternal words; while his bowels shall be a fountain of truth, to set in order the house of God, and to arrange by lot the inheritances of the saints whose names are found, and the names of their fathers, and of their children, enrolled in the book of the law of God;
And there are other scriptures in both bible and Book of Mormon that tie this individual to being of the lineage of Ephraim, which is Joseph.
