The Doctrine and Covenants
I, having accomplished and finished the will of him whose I am, even the Father, concerning me–having done this that I might subdue all things unto myself–
Jesus Christ headed off every ideology by joining the ranks of the eternal, making himself without beginning of days or end of years; time is swallowed up in him; therefore, he is one eternal round. In the battle of gog and magog (the final battle) all religions and principles will be pitted against each other. Jesus’ way will win because he is the truth and the life & technically as everything is wrapped up as it were in a scroll he is forever one eternal now, meaning his state of existence is that he has always won and will forever win. In this his omniscience he subdued his enemies while allowing them to believe he was less than what they ideally thought a god should be like, knowing they would continue on; they killed him and he still won. In this battle of words he is the mighty sword of truth.
