The Doctrine and Covenants
And this you shall do that my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., may not be destroyed, that I may bring about my righteous purposes unto the children of men in this work.
The Lord has work for men to do, “all of us”, and each one has a portion of that job; amazingly no matter what level of work we do the Lord always manages to get his portion completed. That must mean the Lord has something magnificent waiting for us if he has so many lines waiting to the front of the table. Many are willing to do what the Lord wants only after they leave this life to get at what it is they couldn’t see in this life, that can be the only logical reason why the Lord always meets his objectives.
