Wherefore, I command you to repent, and keep the commandments which you have received by the hand of my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., in my name;

So, in retrospect, his name that is eternal and an eternity of punishment, formally requests that we obey everything that Joseph Smith Jr. has taught us: about conspiring men in the last days, and many other numerous events in Joseph’s tumultuous life. Not just the things he wrote, but his living example.
